VG224 unregisters from CallManager

Our CallManager is running version 4.2(3) upgraded from 4.1(3) back on November 11, 2009.

Lately I have a VG224 that unregisters from its normal CallManager server and tries to register with another subscriber then back to the original sever it is normally registered to . Sends out a lot of RTMT traffic

This is not a power issue. We have other VG224s running from the same power, they are fine.

The IOS is 12.4.2 T5,  the newest IOS is 12.4.24 T2.

I am thinking the old IOS may have a compatibility issue with CCM 4.2(3)

Can anyone verify this

I don't have any input on the compatability between vg224@12.4.2t and CUCM.  However, I personally have found that the 12.4(15)T train (presently 12.4(15)T12) is been pretty successful in my deployments.  That has been true whether running MGCP or SCCP.  Again, that is just in my experience your mileage may vary.
