Hello, we're looking to replace a couple VG224s with some bad analog ports with the newer VG310 platform. I have a couple questions for anyone who has used the VG310 as a replacement for the VG224:
1) when ordering the unit, do you need to also order a PVDM3 module in order to utilize the 24 onboard FXS ports?
2) if the answer to #1 is "no", that the 24 FXS ports are ready-to-go, are there any special license (part number) that needs to be purchased at the same time one orders the VG310? is the appropriate licensing included in the purchase of the VG310?
I plan on purchasing a 3-year smartnet contract for support but I want to make sure, based on other peoples experience, that we order the correct items from the start so that I can swap out the failing VG224s and go production on the VG310s with minimal fuss.
