VG310 using SCCP protocol. Faxing issues

From what I have real on the forums end users can't fax via SIP trunk using SCCP on voice gateways. We utilize a lot of features on our analog phones and can't globally change to MGCP for this reason. 
I read that you can change the protocol at port level but I can't find the settings for it. Any help would be appreciated.

There is not a SCCP vs. MGCP toggle switch. You have to build the gateway twice in CUCM, once per-protocol, and be very careful to only configure a given FXS port under one gateway or the other. The VG itself has both MGCP and SCCP configs on it and downloads the per-port config from CUCM.
