Hi guys,
Is the aboive thing supported. Few minutes ago I was 100% sure CCM on vmware is supported only on UCS servers. However I came across the following link :
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Specification-Based_Hardware_Support
where next line confused me:
The only supported server vendors are:
What exactly does it mean? Can I install it on HP?
Best regards and thanx for any suggestions

Hi Goran,
It is indeed supported. Specifications-based VMware hardware support was introduced last week, and with it Cisco supports customers wishing to deploy certain UC applications on their own ESXi hardware platforms within certain guidelines. The VMware host server could be a Cisco UCS, IBM or HP server that is listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility list, uses Xeon 5600 or 7500 series of processors, and with sufficient memory for the virtual machines and ESXi. Other requirements also apply.
