I have been experiencing an issue while setting up the ATA 192 with Vodafone Italy FTTH Broadband behind a router. I have contacted the Vodafone technical support and they could not find the solution to make it work out as I expected and the consultant suggested that I submit this request to the Cisco community.
The error is 403 forbidden while registering the ATA to the Vodafone SIP/VOIP server. So that, besides digging in the specific error leading to the forbidden, my enquiry is to provide the settings that Vodafone Italy published on their own website for SIP/VOIP set-up as follows:
Basic parameters
SIP Domain: ims.vodafone.it
SIP Protocol : UDP Port 5060
SIP outbound proxy: Voip.fixed.vodafone.it
SIP username: <myusername>
SIP password: <my password>
Codec voce (priority order):
o G.711 A-law, then G.711 U-law
o G.729
Codec Fax (alternatively):
o G.711 A-law
o T.38
Other recommended parameters:
Packetization Time: 20ms
Expire Time: 3600
DSCP Marking (decimal value): 34
Register fetch/Fetching bindings: NO
DTMF: RFC 2833, InBand, SIP INFO
VAD (Voice Activity Detection): not supported
UPDATE support (RFC3311): enabled
100rel PRACK message (RFC3262): enabled
Could you please help me by sending me the configuration file for ATA 192 model matching the requirements / parameters shown above? Or, if not so, even send me some screenshots where I apply this set-up for each of them on the GUI panels?
