Voice mail message unretrievable

I have a user that is not able to listen to a message:

      

They go into the vm and cannot retrieve the message, message unretrievable is what they are being told and message is dated 2/1/2013.

I'm new to unity, is there a way I can retrieve the message for them?  Is there a way to find out why the message is not retrievable?

Hi,

  Which voice messaging system is this i.e. Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity Connection or Cisco Unity Express. If the user is not able to retrive voice message from the IP Phone, they may want to try Cisco PCA, a web based application that shows the voice messages and you can use either your PC's speakers or IP Phone to listen to voice messages.
