Hi Everybody,
I'm a newbie in voice... now I'm trying to configure the SRST mode in VG
My lab test includes CUCM8.6, VG (SRST), and all IP phones are SIP
I have successfully fallback to SRST mode after unplugged the CUCM from the network
However, I'm still not sure which commands are essential for a basic SRST config

Question 1:
I am not sure I am correct or not, in SRST mode, I have "voice register global" and "call-manager-fallback", both of the following config have max-dn and max-pool (max-ephones)... is there any different?
Here is part of the VG config.
voice register global
max-dn 50
max-pool 20
!
call-manager-fallback
max-dn 50
max-ephones 20
!

Question 2:
under the SRST mode, there is no "voice register dn" and "voice register pool" in VG.... why the IP Phones still can have DN on it? because of xml.cnf stored in IP Phone?

Question 3:
somebody said I have to config "voice register dn" and "voice register pool" in VG even in SRST ... then the IP Phones would fallback faster ... is that true?
