Voicemail button, unable to access 2nd button

When i hit the voicemail button on my IP phone 7945/7965 phones it does not go to voicemail.  The 1st line is a ACD Line which does not have voicemail.  I setup the Service parameter so that it is set to FALSE for voicemail button to only work on primary line.  So their fore it should work that if any button has voicemail that will pick up.

But when i hit the vmail button, nothing happens.  When i pick up the phone with 1st DN and get dial tone, i hit vmail button, still nothing happens.  Only if i hit the vmail button when i pickup the 2nd DN of the phone will it go to the Unity Vmail system.  (Unity version v 7.1.5)

Interesting, the 1st extension does not have a voicemail profile at all.  It is set to <NONE>.

2nd extension has a custome Voicemail profile.

We also have the option to set extension 1 to "NoVoiceMail" which is technically a profile.  I think you are onto something sir.

Can you select the 2nd line and hit the voicemail button and see if it will work.

Yes the 2nd line will work if i select it and then hit vmail.  2nd line has a vmail profile.

Of, AFAIK hitting the messages button will take you to the 2nd line's voicemail only if that line has a voicemail on it. If it doesnt have voicemail, it will automatically go to the first line's voicemail box which in your case is none.

Ok, i was following you earlier...and i think you mean voicemail profile when you are saying just voicemail.  Never the less, i think i am all set and the problem is that the first line has no vmail profile set.  It should just have NoVoiceMail profile if nothing.  But should have have < NONE >.

Ok i will test this out and confirm for you by tomorrow.  Thank again for your input.  Really do appreciate it.
