Hi Mahmoud Moosa,
as a First Step, you should get the following info:
1) Your actual topology.
2) The future growth rate of each site.
3) Key features (features that they have today and features that they should have in the future)
You can also check the Design Zone for Collaboration link for more information.
Hope this helps.

Hi Marcelo,
Thank you for your helpful reply.
I see all points you mentioned sounds perfect to start from scratch.
1) Today i have work and will go to bring total number of users who are going to use Cisco IPT.
2) Regarding to the topology, my lead told me do it by your own Mahmoud for the clinic without see the existing voip topology in the hospital.
It increase my challenge.
3) Could you please clarify what kind of features? do you mean the endpoints layer?
Again thank you very much.
Respectfully,
Mahmoud Moosa

In addition to great post from Marcelo (+5) make sure you read the infrastructure section of the CUCM SRND:
http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/docs/iam/unified/ipt1051/Using_SRND_Documents.html
where it describes well network infrastructure requirements to run voip successfully. You also did not specific what type of voip environment you are running or considering running, is this CUCM, CME, another vendor, etc?

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your helpful reply and useful link.
I will read the document.
As far as i know CUCM in the hospital only, other companies are using multi vendor like Al Catel, NEC, Avaya, Panasonic and us Siemens.
My target is the clinic.
If you have any advice i am glad to hear from you to exchange information.
Once again thank you very much.
Respectfully,
Mahmoud Moosa
