I`m doing some reading on the CUCM SME and came across the word Leaf Cluster - what does it mean?

CUCM SME will for example allow to interconnect together multiple CUCM clusters.

Those CUCM clusters are called "leaf clusters".

CUCM SME is a kind of star topology where the CUCM SME is a the center.
