What is the CSS in Translation Pattern used for

what is the CSS in Translation Pattern used for? Can I leave it blank? To my understanding there will be no need for a translated number to initiate a call.

That CSS defines what DNs you can reach after the translation is applied.

If the DN you're translating the original number to is not within that CSS the call will fail.
