The subject sums it up. My client doesn't want to lose AC functionality while the new 8.6 AC is being setup post upgrade and I was wondering if the plugin from 4.1 could work as a temp solution while the kinks are worked out of the new 8.6 install.

No, not to mention that you won't find any of the AC services any longer nor the config elements you would need (pilot point, Ac users, etc).
