DHCPv6 not working on RV345P - no address range available for DHCPv6

Hello Forum!

I'm trying to upgrade my Cisco RV345P router to allow for IPv6 traffic. On my network, I have 3 VLANs. Each vlan is assigned an IPv4 range, as well as an IPv6 range. From what I can understand - when supported - devices should be getting assigned IPv6 addresses.

Instead, all devices on all vlans are being assigned IPv4 addresses only and I'm getting the following error in my router's logs:
- dnsmasq-dhcp: no address range available for DHCPv6 request via eth3.1

Please note that on this router, I'm only able to access the web GUI. I don't believe that ssh connections are supported?

              - Use the latest firmware available for the RV345P
              - Check the DHCPv6 configuration and or if it is allowed to distribute addresses through  eth3.1
              - Check if the corresponding vlan has full ipv6 support (configured)

Had to create a new account, as the community website seems to have bugged and locked me out of my original one?

  • I'm running the latest firmware for my router, which is currently version '1.0.03.29'
  • From the LAN > VLAN Settings page, all VLANs have been setup so that the router is a DHCP server. Both for IPv4 and IPv6. All VLANs have the default IPv6 address configuration, which from what I believe is correct?
  • I'm unsure how to check if it's allowed to distribute addresses through a specific interface, such as eth3.1? As far as I can tell, since I have enabled it from within the VLAN settings, this should be allowed?

suggest to check the config as mentioned below :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrsSbvf9mdg

there is different way to enable SSH, but i would not suggest - GUI is most of the best way to use it

If you like to have ssh You can edit the config file (by downloading locally) check SSH section make it true and use that configuration to upload and save. then you can use 2024 to SSH to devices. (if you looking to go that route)
