Hi,
wondering if someone here can help me to understand this: why would I still need #ipv6 address autoconfig if I already have #ipv6 address dhcp on the interface? shouldn't #ipv6 address dhcp be enough for the endpoint device to obtain an IP?
Thanks

Hi D@1984 ,
You do not need to configure "ipv6 address autoconfig" if you configure "ipv6 address dhcp", but bear in mind that DHCPv6 does not provide a default gateway address like DHCP does.
For this reason, you need to configure "ipv6 nd autoconfig default-route" so that the default route is configured from the received RA. This does not happen by default.
The "ipv6 nd autoconfig default-route" command is not needed when "ipv6 address autoconfig" is configured as it is the default behavior.
