IPv6 prefix delegation behind routed link

My apologies if this is already answered.  I am still learning IPV6 so I'm not sure about the proper search terms for this.

My ISP provides a dynamic /56 using prefix delegation.  I was able to subnet these on different interfaces on my ASA5506 without issues but now I'm throwing a l3 switch in the mix.  My network will look like this:

ISP < ipv6/128 > ASA5506 < L3 Link > 3560G

I was hoping to subnet the /56 into multiple /48 on vlan interfaces on the 3560 but I'm not sure about how to set this up.

Hello

I assume thant you mean to plan to subnet the /56 prefix to several /64 prefixes on the 3560.

Yes it is the way to do LAN addressing.
