SG200-18 errors

Im receiving these errors every few minutes for a week until the switch locks up and i have to reboot.

option 24 refers to DNS domain list

see RFC 3646

The format of the Domain Search List option is:

   option-code:  OPTION_DOMAIN_LIST (24)

   option-len:   Length of the 'searchlist' field in octets

   searchlist:   The specification of the list of domain names in the
                 Domain Search List

   The list of domain names in the 'searchlist' MUST be encoded as
   specified in section "Representation and use of domain names" of RFC
   3315.

You should try to understand if any client is sending this offending packet to your switch.

So what was done to fix this? I'm getting this on my CBS350-16P-2G.

Open a new post with the logs you seeing on the device.

better to upgrade to latest firmware that fixed all the issues.

are you using any DHCPv6 ? if not try disable any where in the configuration ?
