Why configure multiple ipv6 addresses on interface?

I'm preparing for CCNP Encor and I was reading about the interface commands to add a secondary IPV4 address and multiple IPv6 address.

I do not think any use for IPv4, but could be mistaken.

How about IPv6?

Do you create a router on a stick?

Is there any use in creating multiple IPv6 addresses on one interface?

Thank you for helping me understand this matter.

Both IPv4 and IPV6 - it all depends on the requirement, most use case is no interface available, as you mentioned router is in a stick.

on servers, it can be used to link each services on separate IPv6.

on a router and all devices, it can be useful in case of a prefix change where you can have a transition phase with devices with IPv6 in multiple prefix.
