Does anyone know if it is possible on Jabber to have a call go to on hold when the 'Transfer' button is pressed, similar to the way the Cisco IP phones work?
No. IP Phones have to play dial tone to accept the transfer pattern. Jabber does not have that limitation, thus why hold happens when the consult leg begins.
