Jabber status not updating while in Zoom meeting (Outlook calendar)

DOes anyone know why Zoom meetings that are in my Outlook calendar are not updating my status in Jabber to "In a Meeting"? WebEx meetings do. And I see all the calendar events in my Jabber calendar. I've looked in all the Settings and can't find anything. Is there a plug in?

Also, please disregard my comment from 08-30-2021 08:32 AM. I've resolved that. But Jabber still won't update my status while in a zoom meeting.

Hi Kevin,

Jabber can update presence based on Outlook calendar. 

There is a user option in Settings > Status - "Show me as In a meeting while I'm in a meeting"

Can you please ensure that this is checked

Note: Jabber will only display presence if the user is enabled for IM & Presence service

I have had all 3 options, under status, enabled.



- Show me as away if not active for 15 minutes

- Show me as away when I lock my computer

- Show me as 'In a meeting' while I'm in a meeting

FWIW,

I also get a "Microsoft Office integration error. Restart any open Office applications" notification in Jabber. Restarting Office apps and even Jabber does not resolve that error.
