hi

You can make use of CAR (Rate-limit) commands to restrict the bandwidth as per the requirement.

Also you can make use of Class based policing to achieve the same.

so without policy how can i implement CAR in interface.

and i need a one more info if more than one customer connected on that interface ech having separate vlan id.

so can i implement this car in vlan interface?

hi

I did give the CAR suggestion thinking off that you are trying with your router.

Pls post out the switch model and info on how the customers are getting connected to the switches..
