Design recommendations on Metro Ethernet to include optional multicast to customer premise

We are looking to implement Metro Ethernet to commercial customers utilizing a 6509 at the head end and ME3400 at the customer premise. From what I have read it best practice to create the interface on the 6509 and trunk it to the ME3400? Are there any configuration examples available to review this setup? Also at some point after implementing this setup we would like to offer IPTV over multicast. Would this be supported by the recommended examples? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know the answer.

This is the Cisco Validated Design for Metro Ethernet and includes multicast.

As I understand the document, it's suggesting to create a subinterface on the 6509 gigabit port with ip addressing and use trunking on the ME3400 nni port? If that's the case then I believe that we add the uni port to that vlan and that's it?
