Error message in 6513 %Error show slavedisk0:

Hi,

I am receiving the following message on a Cat 6513 placed at one of my clients, any help as to why i am receiving this and what could be the possible steps to identify the cause and its rectification would be appreciated.

Following error message has been observed:

SWB#sh disk0:

-#- --length-- -----date/time------ path

number of file 2

inode path is 1 TOSHIBA5.12M

fullpath is disk0:/TOSHIBA5.12M

%Error show disk0: (Directory entries are corrupted, please format the disk)

Did you try and format or change the media?

issue: format disk:

or from SP: remote login switch

then: format disk:

squeeze and copy your files.

Sounds like a bad disk or corrupted partition. Also SP formatting should do it.
