We are implementing a Verizon EVPL connection to our remote site.
I am thinking I should be able to configure an 802.1q trunk from my two switches, trunk the VLANs I want to and route the rest.
Is anyone currently using swithes in this way?
Configuring 802.1q trunk will be useful for transfering vlans across the site so that it can be used at other end also.but your query relates to the implementation for this type of setup any how if your requirement is to have vlan across the site then trunking can be useful.
