We have been looking for a better solution in supporting "bonded DSL / bonded EFM" Currently we are using CEF with good success however we are beginning to see draw backs to it when it comes to VoIP and packets arriving out of order.
Historically we bonded based on multilink however our ASR1002x now connects to the DSLAM network via gigabit Ethernet thus breaking that design.
My want is to have a topology as follows
CPE connects to 1941 Router via a /30 routed subnet, the 1941 connects to 2x EFM links both terminating at the same DSLAM which connects to Ge0/0/3 on an ASR1002x providing PPPoE termination.
CPE/30ip--->/30ipFe0/1/0 Cisco1941PPPDialer Ge 0/0 ---> EFMLinkA ------->DSLAM------->Ge0/0/3on ASR1002xPPPoE
|_>Ge0/1 --->EFMLinkB -------> DSLAM------>_|
I have followed the steps for PTA to CPA as in this article http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/ios_xe/wan/configuration/guide/xe_3s/wan_xe_3s_book/wan_cfg_mlppp_conn_xe.pdf
I am able to establish the MLP Bundle but cannot get traffic to flow across.
I am also open to the thought of having the CPE device be the PPPoE Client in a CPE-----LAC-----LNS setup but before i head down this path is this even possible?
Thanks
Dustin
