MPLS load balancing

if there are two equal cost ISIS routes, then there will be two LSP's for a FEC. but in MPLS only one FEC should be used.

on what basis will this selection be made?

can we balance load across links in a port channel in MPLS, how?

also in VPLS scenario will these load balancing result in disordering of packets on Pseudo wire?

If using LDP to establish LSP's then you should look at the default ECMP behavior specific to your platform. Depending on how deep into the frame the Hashing mechanism looks should give you a good idea.

Not sure on RSVP, pretty sure once the tunnel is established that is the only path it'll take. Maybe a feature at the Head-End router to load-balance over multiple tunnels if available?

Other things to consider with ECMP is the insertion of a flow label being added between the LSP label and the VPN label. Might be useful for L2VPN's.
