Hi,
I am interested in knowing how Q in Q concept will be applicable in CFM. Will the CFM messages be tagged with C-VLAN and S-VLAN tags or Q in Q is applicable only for the frames containing data?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Here some hints from configuration guide on ME3400:
These are the configuration guidelines and restrictions for CFM:
?You cannot configure CFM on an EoMPLS port.
?CFM is not supported on private VLAN ports or IEEE 802.1Q tunnel ports. The configuration is allowed, but does not take affect.
Please let me know if I've understood you correctly.

Hi,
Sorry for the very late reply. I have been trying to figure out various scenarios and Q in Q applicability with regards to CFM.
If CFM is not supported on IEEE 802.1Q tunnel ports, then how does the service provider associate a CFM PDU from different Customers (at customer domain level) with a C-VLAN tag to be forwarded to the other end of the Customer site without tagging it with S-VLAN tag (i.e finding the correct egress port at the provider edge to the particular customer site).
Correct me if I am incorrect or missing something.
Thanks & Regards,
Sriram K
