Thank you very much.

The user account which you using for authintication is admin account or just a user with privilages ?

Your account might not have the right privlieges to run this command. Talk to your network admin for AAA server to get to work. Here i assume it to be a working router.

HTH

Could you please try the following :

- show configuration

- If you are aware of any interface, then get the running-config of that interface. (show run int <>)

- show module

- show redundancy

If there are two RSP cards on the 7600, could you please try the below:

- remote command standby-rp show run

The above commands will help clarify if there is any problem with the user. If the user doesnt has sufficient privileges, in most cases, it throws an error saying "command not authorized" but its not the case here, Thus makes me think it could be something else as well.

Also, check if there are other users who are seeing the same behavior.

Thank you very much.

Few things noticed here:

- seems the standby RSP has gone bad. Its in Unknown state.

- If you look at the show redundancy output, it says in progress to standby cold. This implies its trying to sync the config but not been able yet.

- the show conf output shows that you were not able to access the startup config. Either its corrupted, or there is not enough memory available on the active RSP.

Could you please get the below output:

- show tech (if you are able to capture this command, then please upload it in a seperate file)
- show mem statistics
- show fabric channel-counters
- show fabric errors
- dir nvram:

Please attach the above commands in a file.

Thank you very much.

Its weird that you are unable to access the nvram:

Could you please try to execute copy run start or wr mem command and see if you are getting any error.

If you still get some error or you are unable to save the config, then you will have to replace the RSP card.

Thanks

You told me I should replace 20 RSP cards?

Your nvram is bad. You will have to replace the RSP720 (module 5) card in your chassis. Also, i noticed that slot 6 module is also in unknown state. Thus, you will have to replace both the RSP720 cards.

Part Id: RSP720-3CXL-GE

Hope this answers your question.

I will try to reload on next Tuesday. If it isn’t solve, I will change RSP720 cards. I have 1 more question. I have many nodes throughout the country with same HW & SW, why this problem occurs just 1 region?

I found the bug: CSCsu74400, and can re-produced.
