Back-To-Back Route Reflector Peering

Hi All,

If you peer between route reflectors clusters and have them setup as back-to-back clients does this disable the cluster-id loop prevention checks?  Just i see routes being sent back to originator RR and that RR accepting them. I thought the originator would drop the route because it see's it own cluster-id?

Thanks

Well, I can imagine this situation in a topology with redundant route reflectors for a cluster and without configuring the same cluster-id on both of them.

But generally the cluster-id should work as loop-prevention also in your back-to-back client setup.

Hi @jay_7301 ,

It would certainly help if you could provide more information and a high level diagram.
