Hello everyone,

I'm looking for working example: Out-of-Band Clocking or clock recovery in adaptive mode.

My problem is that I have configure both scenario on 7609S (ios 15.0(1)S2 )with:

7600-SIP-400

SPA-24CHT1-CE-ATM

on both ends.

Configuration on routers I take from this manual:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps368/module_installation_and_configuration_guides_chapter09186a00807f9ea0.html#wp1635929

and recovering don't work stabile.

In logs I have a lot of down/up statement:

041082: Feb 21 13:29:42.499 CET: %CLOCK_RECOVERY-4-CLOCK_FAILED: Recovered clock 0 on module 3/0 failed
041107: Feb 21 13:33:33.508 CET: %CLOCK_RECOVERY-6-CLOCK_ACTIVE: Recovered clock 0 on module 3/0 is now active
041114: Feb 21 13:37:54.506 CET: %CLOCK_RECOVERY-4-CLOCK_FAILED: Recovered clock 0 on module 3/0 failed
041115: Feb 21 13:39:34.503 CET: %CLOCK_RECOVERY-6-CLOCK_ACTIVE: Recovered clock 0 on module 3/0 is now active
041116: Feb 21 13:42:05.504 CET: %CLOCK_RECOVERY-4-CLOCK_FAILED: Recovered clock 0 on module 3/0 failed

and most of the time the recovered status is HOLDOVER:

Recovered clock status for subslot 3/0
----------------------------------------
Clock    Mode         Port CEM  Status     Frequency Offset(ppb)
ENHANCED PRIMARY           0    HOLDOVER   28

Summarizing if anybody has working example of OOB clock recovery please, please share it with me.

best regards

Piotr
