Hi All,
I have two customers ( A & B). A is parent and B is child of A but both are on different VRFs . Now Parent A wants to communicate its child B.
is there any possibility?
Since i am new to MPLS so this is just a query that came into my mind. Would really appreciate for any answers.
Regards,
Anil

Hi
Yes you do vrf leaking between the 2 vrfs so they can speak to each other and see each others routes
This doc explains it with examples

Hi Anil,
Assume it is simple form of Hub and Spoke topology.
Vrf A want to communicate with vrf B and same way reverse too.
You may play with rt values. It is very simple to understand: One vrf export prefix with certain tag and another vrf import same tag. Same way for child vrf as well.
vrf A
rd 100:100
export 1:1
import 1:2
vrf B
rd 200:200
export 1:2
import 1:1
Since these are two different customer you may not want to leak all prefix, if so you may play with export / import map , keeping tight control on what prefix from what vrf you want to allow.

Mahesh
