Is there a simple way of setting a default metric for all non-OSPF originated routes in an MPLS VPN when redistributing from MP-BGP to the VRF OSPF process ? The 'default-metric' command (configured in the VRF OSPF process) seems to be applied also when the VPNv4 route in question carries a valid MED and OSPF ext-communities. This is undesirable for us since we want to pass the metric transparently for internal OSPF routes. On the other hand we have to set some kind of default metric since PE-CE EIGRP is also being used in the same VPN (routes having a metric > 2^24 aren't redistributed otherwise). Currently we set an additional community attribute for routes where a default-metric should be applied, but this isn't very nice in terms of provisioning ...
Any other ideas ??
