How to manipulate the path selection in a MPLS VPN ?

Dear All,

Any input or pointers to how the path selection process in a MPLS VPN can me manipulated, would greatly appreciated.

I have several multihomed sites, with each 2 CE routers connecting to 2 different PE routers.

I have a requirement to make sure that all traffic enters and exits via one specific PE router.

Is there way to use BGP attributes like local pref or MED to achieve this ?

Can BGP attributes be set under any ipv4 address-family ?

Yes path selection can be manipulated using MED and L Pref. For configuration examples we have discussed the same in a prevoius post on this Forum " Floating Routes not Kicking back " You can refer to it. You will hve to set the attributes for the VPN under the VPNv4 address family or address-family ipv4 vrf
