Hi,
We are having Fully deployed MPLS based IP network
In our NoC we are having one Edge PE router from that one L3 3550 switch is connected.
In that L3 switch fa 0/1 connected to a separate switch to customers.
in that we are connected 15 customers all are in separate VLAN.
how to monitor each customer in/out traffic.
when ever i measure the using cisco OID it showing 100 to 200 bits only but actually all are more that 1Mbps link.
anyone can help out from this issue.
Any traafic engineering is there in MPLS I dont know much more detail about MPLS.
i am new to MPLS network.
Thanks & Rgds,

Hi,
If you are using ethernet sub-interfaces on your PE router to terminate these VLANs, then you should be able to poll the appropriate input/output counters from the ifMib. Have you tried that at all ?
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Hi,
if the customers connect to individual ports (they have to somewhere!), you almost should measure on those ports directly.
Otherwise, you will have to use a trick : mirror(monitor) the trunk port where all the traffic is coming but filter out all VLAN's but one of them (command like 'monitor session 2 source vlan 10 rx') : measure the throughpout on that port with MRTG or 'sh int'.
Hope this helps!
