Hi,

I have a core routers which are mpls as well as ipv6 enabled . Now I want to give ipv6 vpn service to the customer. Is that possible ? any document on that will be appreciated.

I have read the 6pe feature but that is talking about giving ipv6 services to the customer over mpls ipv4 backbone, and that too ipv6 routes will be globally present in the pe rather than in vrf. So is it possible to give ipv6 vpn to the customer if not then what is the alternative of providing the same?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks & regards

The solution you are looking for is called 6VPE. Please refer to the following document for more information on thie feature.

http://www.cisco.com/web/about/ac123/ac147/archived_issues/ipj_8-2/ipv6.html

It is currently available on the 7600 running 12.2(33)SRA.

Hope this helps,
