I read several posts (some quite old) regarding this kind of setup.
Putting a /30 link on the virtual-intefaces (PPPoE server and dialer client) helps do form a ldp connection and labels are exchanged.
As no IGP is spoken I tried static routes for the loopbacks and "sh mpls forwarding vrf X" suggests all is fine, yet packets could not be transmitted successfully from other vrf endpoints using this connection.
As in previous discussions this was either described as a corner case that is not supported or simply not supported I wonder if this is indeed a statement of fact or if there is a way to successfully use ppp connections in a BRAS+CPE environment as PE-P router connections.
