What is the IOS version that you are running? I checked the feature navigator for latest IOS image 15.5(2)T universal K9 image, and it supports MPLS.

Hi,

Does ISRG2 require Data license to run MPLS?  when do we need to activate Data license on top of IOS Universal? for C891F-K9, no need to add license for MPLS?

pls clarify.

I dont think it will be required at add a license on Cisco 891 router for MPLS. Though, you ISRG2 and other new ISR's like 1900, 3900 etc. require DATA license for running MPLS. You can refer to the below CSC post which talks about the same:
