First up my apologies if I am asking something that has already been answered, I tried to search but wasn't able to find exactly what I am looking for.
I am looking for different ways you guys design QoS for your SP networks, I have stated my idea and would like to understand what needs to be done to control how the traffic is handled in my network.
My infrastructure is based on 7600 platform with SIP modules, I am going to use STM SPAs in the core and Gig SPAs inter POP. Access rings made of 3560.
The services planned are L2 and L3 VPNs.
For L2 this is what I have thought.
At access thinking of mls qos with policy maps and at the aggregation I will use policy maps again.
For L3 I am thinking of configuring classification of customer traffic to Core EXP, with Policy-maps and applying these to customer interface on ingress & egress as required.
Is my thinking correct, can I get some more reference on this or possibly live examples or any other pointers...
Please suggest...
