In MPLS-TE to config explicit route on the p2p links, can it be ip unumbered ? pros and cons of making it ip unumbered

ok, any plans ios will do this ?, junos does :),lastly does MPLS-TE ER require the p2p ip addresses dumped into igp ?

I will check what are the plans for the unnumbered support.

Well, the p2p ip address doesn't need to be in the IGP. For instance you could "advertise passive-only" for isis and only propagate the lo0 interface in the IGP and the TE tunnels would still work fine.
