Hi,
It is said that the cost to cross TE tunnel is the IGP cost from headend to tailend
Is it true to say that this cost from headend to tailend is the sum of all link costs between them as calculated by CSPF algorithm (and signaled by RSVP)?
Basically, hypotheticaly it's possible that you build an explicit path tunnel between directly connected routers, but you configure this path go round and round instead of just cross the directly connected link.
In this case will the cost of TE tunnel be a cost of explicit path or a cost of directly connected link between the routers, although tunnel never actually crosses it?
Thanks,
David
