I'm trying to configure mVPN Profile 6.
I am following a Cisco Live Lab by the letter and when I get to this stage:
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1#conf t
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config)#route-policy vrf-one-profile-6
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config-rpl)#set core-tree mldp-inband
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config-rpl)#end-policy
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config)#router pim
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config-pim)#vrf one address-family ipv4
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config-pim-one-ipv4)#rpf topology route-policy vrf-one-profile-6
RP/0/0/CPU0:PE1(config-pim-one-ipv4)#commit
Once I do this, the router console gets flooded with the follow trace logs:
LC/0/0/CPU0:Aug 7 15:17:41.016 UTC: fib_mgr[253]: %ROUTING-FIB-3-PLATF_UPD_FAIL : FIB platform update failed: Obj=FIB_DATA_TYPE_MOL[ptr=0x118439328,refc=0x2,flags=0x1a22] Action=MODIFY Proto=mpls. They are so prolific as to render the device unusable.
I've attempted to do this with 6.5.3 and 7.2.2 and both get the same response - so I'm unsure if this is a software version bug (or if it is, it affected both these versions).
I've tried to create profile 6 on my one (outside of this Cisco Live lab) and I get the same result. Has anyone seen anything like this?

I'm having the same issue. Did you find any resolution? It seems this is an issue with XRv9000 and it works on XRv?

Ideally, you should open a support case, so that the team proceed with traceback decoding and determine the root cause for these tracebacks.
