Hi,
Initially my customer was connected to frame-relay network running eigrp.
Isdn was used as backup.
Then we migrated to MPLS network.
When leased-line is up all the routes are learnd via eigrp.
Then when we shutdown the serial link, the isdn which was configured
with administrative distance of 200 kick in and was successful.
The problem only arise when we no shut the serial interface and the
leased line is back active. At the remote site CE router i able to see
the route are relearned via eigrp from PE but at HQ site the CE to PE routers
route are learned via eigrp but route to the CE remote LAN was still pointing
to ISDN. I had to remove the static route from HQ router for the eigrp to
relearn again. Why?
The remote using 2620 XM and HQ 2610 XM and both are using IP Plus 12.3(13a)
Thank You.
Regards,
Ganesh

It has Administrative Distance of 200. It is the same for both HQ and remote site.

Is this an MPLS VPN ? If yes, then change the AD to 200+ say 220 or something. You can also try changing the metric of the routes with which you are redisributing on ISDN.
