Hi ,

I have a query here :

as we know we can use sham-link in an MPLS VPN, (in other words we can assign a VRF to sham links) - is there  show command that can tell me for which sham-link , which VRF is used ?

i tried show ip ospf sham-links but it does not mention VRF.

TIA

Hello Arjun Dabol,

have you tried to get the SHAM-LINK's source and destination and see which VRF they belong to?
As per the config specs, the SHAM-LINK source and destination have to be advertised and known by the two ends, it is usually accomplished by advertising the loopbacks' addresses via BGP (under the specific ipv4 address-family for the VRF you need the SHAM-link to work in).

Here there is a quick and very accurate example of what I am talking about:

Hope this helps,
L.
