Hi,
We are running some 7606 boxes using MPLS, however when we check ;
sh int te 3/2 accounting
TenGigabitEthernet3/2
Protocol Pkts In Chars In Pkts Out Chars Out
IP 3546160 3748935104 312 47011
CDP 3 1275 2 954
MPLS 0 0 1339120 1474758550
We would expect Pkts In to be MPLS as well, since MPLS traffic is also traversing through the router (you might argue that the packets in are being seen IP because popping would have occured, but this doesn't apply to traversing traffic).
We see this on all our boxes on mpls enabled interfaces. You guys think this is something cosmetic, or are we misreading something?
Seen on a couple of 7606's with SUP7203BXL and IOS 15.1S4
Cheers,
Rob
