Hi,

The Cisco Press book "Layer 2 VPN Architectures" (ISBN: 1-58705-168-0) has coverage of a number of L2VPN technologies, including a decent chapter on VPLS. I've found that book to be really good.

Apart from that, I have not been able to find any books that cover VPLS .. I don't believe anyone has come out with a VPLS-specific book yet...

There are a lot of useful white papers and other documents here that you may indeed find interesting.

Also check out the IETF working group as well- Layer 2 VPN working group and also Metro Ethernet Forum website. I hope this helps
