I reviewing a specific scenario and I would like to ask again regarding it traffic flow, tagging and instance works.
1. Let;s say Traffic enters with Customer vlan 653 first @ SW01(Facing customer) and in the above configuration we categorize incoming traffic and match to the "encapsulation dot1q" config which vlan 653 is included.
2. based on the categorized encapsulation we will mapped it to service instance 100.
3. Then forward it through Bride-domain which is derived from the encapsulation.
Question:
1. Are these process correct? if this correct what if instead of VLan "653" customer send VLAN 10,20,30 how can we allow this vlans to be process? should we add it on encapsulation dot1q under SW01? while on PE1 will use encapsulation default or any to allow all vlan? which not to usefull if we will per
2. In this case we have an outervlan(SVLAN) of 653 now based on this how can it reach PE02 custiomer? How does PE01 traffic know where to go or which path will be use? do we need to match service instance from PE01 to PE02?
