When configuring the VFI for VPLS, what vc-type is being used? I don't see anything in the docs about it. Which one is really used by Cisco? This is useful to know for interoperability.
VC Type Description
0x0004 Ethernet VLAN
0x0005 Ethernet
0x000B Ethernet VPLS
Thanks,
Greg

I still don't see where they talk about vc-type settings. They mention transport encasulation, but this is not vc-type. Martini had the ability to set either ethernet or vlan vc-type. Which is happening here?

l2 vfi PE2-VPLS-A manual
vpn id 100
neighbor 1.1.1.1 encapsulation mpls
neighbor 3.3.3.3 encapsulation mpls
The vpn id is nothing else but the 0x000B Ethernet VPLS VC-Type.
*For the VPLS VC type, the VC ID is a VPN identifier globally unique
within a service provider domain.*
