100 endpoints eval license

Hi,

Did we change the way to enforce the evaluation license lately?

A partner told me that they saw in an evaluation that the endpoint database was not accepting more than 100 endpoints with the eval license. We are having a hard time to get the Smart License for one customer so they will have to deploy with the evaluation license for a few hundred users while we sort this out and we just want to make sure they will not be limited (other than the alert on the console). This is with 2.1.

You are correct that ISE 2.1 not limiting authentications based on licensed endpoints. Besides, endpoints in the database are for the total count while the license usage is on the concurrent active endpoints.

If needed, you may provide another 100-endpoint eval.
