ACS Cluster with non-identical equipments

On ACS, is it possible to realize a cluster A/A or A/S with two  non-identical equipments : a physical appliance and virtual ACS ?

Yes. This is possible

I have that design working. the virtual is primary and the appliance is secondary. primary instance where you do the config and Logs, secondary do the hard work of authenticating.
