BGP authentication across PIX

It seems I have to reload the PIX to bring up the BGP peer after I config the BGP authentication across PIX. I have the "norandom" configed for the static translation from the beginning.

Is this a bug?

Did you clear xlate? I was testing this last week and found clearing the translations was required, otherwise you wait the default timeout (4 hrs I think).

Thanks for your response. I forgot to mention that I did clear the xlate, it didn't help. The PIX is running 6.3(1)109, unless reloading the PIX, nothing helps. Any ideas? a bug?
