Cannot connect to ACS 3.3 just after installation

Hi,

I installed ACS on a domain controller server. After the installation, the console requires a administrator username and a password. I tried to enter my local administrator loggin but it tells me "login fail... Try again". As during the installation, it never asked me any user name or password, i thought that the local administrator loggin should be enough. Then, i tried to create the user allocated for ACS in the database as it is explained in the installation guide. In that case, when come the step to log on into CSAdmin, CSAuth and so on as this specific user. I can't restart them afterwards.

I saw in one of the conversation, someone having kind of the same problem that he should be able to solve by looking at:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/480/csntfaq.html#Q3

I did check. Unfortunately, i don't have the following key:in regedit.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco\CiscoAAA##\CSAdmin\Administrators

So i'm really thinking that i should have done something wrong during the installation.

I hope someone would be able to help me!

You need to create a user in the domain that ACS would use as an account for authenticating users. The user created should have rights to the active directory on the local machine, and also on the domain.

Actually, I did follow the installation guide step by step and create the specific user CSACS that ACS would use as an account. But when I have to define the services to log on as CSACS and restart the services, it is impossible. Where could that come from? Am I making any mistakes in the configuration of the user?

Have you installed Java?
